They used to show the bluff PSI reading on TV screen(upper left corner). The "official" PAP figure were always understated about half of what was shown on http://aqicn.org/city/singapore/central/
Maybe the PAP didn't want to alarm Sporeans
Otherwise the public might ask them what they were doing about the problem
Maybe this is what PM LHL means about things being better under his rule
With the internet he can't hide the reality.
Well the PSI readings are are now no longer being displayed on TV. However the PSI reading is still in the 60 to 70 range. So for those who assumed the missing numbers indicate that problem has gone away better take note. The haze is still out there.
If you want relieve from the haze you can consider going to JB where it's healthier. Its's usually green as the PSI is under 50.
