i had a neighbour living in my old housing estate many years ago. he was apparently well until one day , after attending a funeral wake,he started to get sick: losing weight, losing strength and eventually bed ridden. he consulted many doctors and specialists,but no doctor could explain why he was in such a grave physical state...
the mother then brought her son to see a temple medium who told the mother that her son was inflicted by a " chiong" demon. the temple medium did some chantings and gave the mother a yellow piece of " poh " to cleanse the son. after that, the son recovered and eventually , he made a full recovery. unbelieveable, but it was true. he was my neighbour. and his name was ah teck.
