If you have a hand for floral arrangements or an eye for fashion design, you can check out two new technical education courses – Floristry and Fashion Apparel Production and Design.
Billed as the College of Creativity and Innovation, the Institute of Technical Education’s (ITE) new $379 million College Central campus at Ang Mo Kio will house these new art-based courses, which will be launched next month.
In the floristry course, those in the first batch of 40 students will have hands-on lessons in floral arrangements, floristry operations and events decoration.
Students in the new fashion course will learn to make prototypes and draft fashion patterns. They will get to make garments for men, women and children.
