Me no tech expert but more of an enthusiast lah. For mere mortals like us, a $50 DAC dongle like this one will be more than sufficient and will give you a significant audio improvement over a normal USB-C to 3.5mm dongle. It has a good DAC from ESS, but will drain your phone quicker than normal.
