Any good android chinese keyboard software to recommend?

Basically, I am looking for an android keyboard that can support english and simplified chinese input. Handwritting would be a plus.

I use MultiLing Keyboard with Chinese Plug-in by Honso on my Android tablet. So far no problem.

cannot swipe between chinese and english.

you can certainly switch between entering chinese characters and english ... just indicate 中 or EN at the input display field or tap on the globe button at the bottom..

... or what do you mean by "swipe between chinese and english"?

I cannot switch to english input mode from chinese input mode. I am on android 4.2.2.

I installed and tried out both Go and Google pinyin. Go allows handwritting input, my choice is Go.
