I asked a similar question before, after moving to OZ.
I can give an explanation, from the southern hemisphere perspective.

Singapore is 5 deg from equator, you will see a bit of difference in sun ray as well.

In Australia, the shadow cast by the sun is different at different time of the year.
As long as the sun does not rise from the West, I do not think this is an issue.

Why? Is your window facing East?

Walua, all neber study science ha?

THE SUN DON'T MOVE RELATIVE TO EARTH la!

Is the Earth's elliptical orbit and angle of tilt around/towards to sun that causes the sun to 'shift' relative to Earth at different times of the year!

Sorry I don't have nice diagrams to illustrate la.

Thanks for the video, but I'm lost halfway through the video, LOL. Will watch it again, thanks

50 degree North East

If that is the case, you wouldn't see the sun most time of the year except in the summer months in the Northern Hemisphere.
