what a pleasant surprise!

this morning went chinatown hawker centre. js to remininesce the chive ckt, i walked to the stalk. to my pleasant surprise, the old couple were back!

out of curiosity, i asked them how so many didn't open for biz. thought they had closed. they said they went for a short china trip. i adeed whether they had a protege to take over. they said no and once they couldn't go on due to health reasons, it would be their last plate.

so b4 they go, i ordered extra large with extra ingredients

it made my sunday so beautifully sinful!

Helps to free up the master cook's time in frying from start to end thus churning out more plates.
