As another long weekend is approaching and as season traveller in this region,beside the usual HK,china,macau and phuket,this are the places i recommend bros to have fun.
1.Sabah..a must visit on this borneo island,breathtaking seaview at most hotel,most chinese can speak hokkien,nightlife not bad with KTV most gro are from KL and ipoh who does not want to be seen by friends but their main target are the timber tycoons..these 3 hotel is good,shang ri la,rasa ria and for family promenade is very good.
2.Penang,for food lovers..penang is paradise..a must nasi kandar,chendol and durains...the roti prata and teh tarik in the morning only behind cititel is strongly recommend.
3.Mersing..you need a car to get this fishing town,stay anight then head to palau rawa and sibu,this two islands are much nearer than tioman only 1hrs plus away.
4.Pulau perhentian/redang..take a budget flight to kota bahru/terangannu..i would say perhentian is much better..this chalet call floral resort facing the sea is cheap and the owners are super friendly,you can rent a canoe and canoe round the islands or their speedboat..my favourite when i goes there.
5.Desaru..use to go by car in the ferry now no more but you can take a boat at changi point and they have plenty of taxi waiting for you at pengarrang,the seafood in sungei ringgit a fishing town fanstatic,the desaru beach have a number of hotels there too.
Phillippines.
1.Manila and borocay island,a beautiful island with friendly islanders entertaining you rifht up to wee morning.
Cambodia.
1.Poipet..stay one night in bangkok ,border near thailand..1hr plus drive from bangkok..plenty of casino resort...you can never get tired and go hungry when you stay in their hotel..food is non stop,dun worry you play with thai batht..very safe place with plenty soldiers guarding there..you can venture into other areas nearby with the guide.nightlife in weekend quite pack with thais coming to gamble..grand diamond/holidaypalace/howah genting was told being takeover are recommended.
Indonesia.
1.Medan,tg balai and of cousre batam not bad too,these three places have big chinese community and all speak hokkien too.
Bring your GF and i can assure you she will not resist your advances
..bring your wife along and she will whisper to you gently you are mine forever
Any other places bros here can think of near beside the above mention,please dun mention our famous changi holiday resort.
