If they can deploy Ng Yat Chung to "rescue" SPH, why they cannot parachute Desmond Kuek to Sports Hub- as someone noticed that all the international talent hunt seems to lead back to former SAF generals

Clearly there is a disconnect between the aspirations of the government and the private sector outfitted to oversee the success of the sports hub. Too much micro-management and scrutiny perhaps!
