The owners of famous beef noodle stall Tai Fatt Hau Cuisine in Bukit Merah want to retire soon.

Singapore, April 15, 2012

Hot on the heels of the proprietors of Kay Lee Roast Meat Joint’s $3.5million asking price comes another renowned food joint with an extravagant price tag.

The owners of Tai Fatt Hau Cuisine in Bukit Merah have put their stewed beef noodles recipe and stall up for sale at a whopping $200,000, reported Lianhe Wanbao last Friday.

Mr Wong Pak Shin, 65, and his wife, Madam Tan Li Ying, 63, run a stall at a coffee shop at Block 28, Hoy Fatt Road and claim to sell 100 bowls of noodles a day. The elderly couple wish to retire soon.

Since his children are not interested in inheriting the stall, he was inspired by the recent Kay Lee saga to follow suit.

Mr Wong’s beef stew is adapted from his father’s hand-me-down recipe of Hakka carrot and beef stew.

The owner boasts that his improved recipe is unique in South-east Asia.

But not just anyone is welcomed to take up his pricey offer. Potential candidates must be wealthy and intelligent. They must also possess a fighting spirit and a keen interest in the food business.

able to sell one hundred bowl a day is not alot . and furthermore if the beef noddles is good they wont sell other food at their stall liao ;)

monkey see, moneky do...lets see which dumb asses will fall for their easy money trap....

Recipes are better invented by oneself, through trial and error, experimentation, attention to details and constant tweaking.

The journey of discovery is the most fun part.

[Doh another accidental double post. The forum server has turned to shit after the hardware upgrade. Keep getting 503 errors.]
