What has this death got to do with Vivian?

People die all the time the world over from diseases, infections, accidents and natural causes.

NEA is under Vivian. This is called ministerial accountability in a true democracy. He would have been fired long ago if there was accountability here.

This death was preventable if Vivian was doing his job instead of picking fights over cleaning of hawker centres. While he was doing it to the WP, PAP hawker centres were infested with RATS. I am surprised that you accept mediocrity with stoicism.

Give me an example of a minister who goes missing when the worst haze appears in the country but he disappears throughout the time.
Give me an example of a minister who is made a junior partner in a national health issue in a cabinet committee which is headed by the defence minister.
Give me an example of a health minister (or any other minister in the world) who is better paid and does fcuk all?

Haze is a minor issue that does not require a minister's presence.

Vivian is paid well and is appointed to important committees because he's very intelligent, very capable and he runs one the best health systems in the whole wide world.

If you do a bit of research and compare key health indices of Singapore vs the rest of the world, you'll find Singapore in the top 5 positions no matter what index you're looking at eg... life expectancy, infant mortality etc.

Vivian already said earlier that they were all "self-inflicted". Mouthpiece reported that two breeding habitats- one in a vase and another in a flower port- were found.

Singaporeans breed mozzies in their own homes and make themselves sick and then try to pass the buck to the minister instead of taking responsibility for their own poor decisions and lack of care in preventing breeding.
