Stompers Kayden and Cindy had been at the scene when SCDF officers and police were in the midst of a rescue mission. According to Kayden, the man kept shouting that he did not want to be rescued. A spokesperson for the Police said: "Police received a call on 31 Jan 2015 at about 10.03pm, requesting for assistance at Block 297, Yishun Street 20. "Upon Police's arrival, it was established that a case of attempted suicide had occurred at the said location. "A 23 year-old man was arrested in relation to the case and police investigations are ongoing."
