Former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak's wife Rosmah Mansor spoke out for the first time since Najib's Dec. 26 power abuse and money laundering conviction. She expressed sadness over those who took joy in her family's hardship. There is no need to even if you hate them, she told Berita Harian.
Ignoring allegations that she was responsible for her husband's political downfall, she said she no longer gets involved in government matters to avoid misunderstandings. Not seeing their grandchildren grow up is Najib's greatest regret, she said.
