A STOMPer is suing Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and Tom Jones for their 'unprofessional conduct' when Tom Jones' concert at RWS ended after just two songs last Friday (26 March).
In a legal letter sent to STOMP, the STOMPer is seeking to claim compensation for 'hotel costs, airplane tickets, transportation plus US$2 million for punitive damages'.
Here are some more excerpts from the legal letter:
"We are now preparing a civil suit against RWS, its agent in Indonesia and against Mr. Tom Jones for unprofessional conduct and terrible behaviour and tortious act as mentioned below:
"1. Tom Jones walked off the stage after singing two songs on 26 March 2010.
"2. Tom Jones' behaviour is very impolite and terrible by only saying 'I have a problem.'
"3. Tom Jones and the organiser (RWS) must have known ... before the schedule that Tom Jones 'was having a problem with his voice' but they misled the public by not postponing or cancelling the event a few days or ... hours before the time schedule
