This list of the paedophiles also shows some of them are FTsh or Govt employees. Were they dismissed from Govt service after conviction? What about the FTsh? Were they deported too?

If pappies wanted to punish criminals, they should push it all the way or there is no deterrence. Serving a jail term is like having a vacation.

Even our sinkee ex-DPP Spencer Gwee got charged and convicted ,so why this Ang Mo so special can go scot-free ? AGC got scared ? Judge got scared ?
It is true that sinkees are 3rd class in sinkeeland.

AGC should appeal against acquittal and let the judge explain his reasons for granting acquittal. Not only must Justice be done; it must also be seen to be done.

http://www.straitstimes.com/news/si.../american-acquitted-paying-sex-minor-20140513

An American whose life was turned upside down after he was accused of paying for sex with a minor, expressed his relief after the charge was dropped yesterday.

Former senior manager Payton Scott Velo, 45, who maintained that the allegation was false, was visibly emotional as he walked out of court after getting an effective acquittal yesterday.

"It's like you were in a coma for 14 months and suddenly you wake up and you realise a year of your life has gone that you can never get back," said Mr Velo, who attempted suicide after being charged last year.

"It's a hard allegation to get past... The plans are to recover, and I don't know what that means, to be honest, at this point," he told The Straits Times.

Justice in Singapore kangaroo court? hahahahahha. Tell me when u wake up from your dream.

My reading of the BBB article is that the charge was dropped by the AGC; the accused was not acquitted by the judge. This was probably because it became clear that the evidence against the accused was no good. This of course raises the question of why the outgoing AG, Mr Steven Chong, brought charges against him in the first place.
