For some, the world is undoubtedly confusing, especially for the children receiving “Trans” lessons in nations like the United States, where some are attempting to mandate that schools offer an hour of trans education.
These children will be completely startled to find that some people may experience extreme difficulty when transitioning from a male to a female identity, and vice versa.
Although the story we are about to present is not the first to occur recently, it is noteworthy enough to be included here for your reading. However, take it with a dose of salt.
Meet Sam, who is 26 years old and hails from Midlands in the U.K. Her story, or his to add to the confusion, is not unique.
The story goes that she paid after the NHS said she had to wait two years for an appointment, she paid for two private therapy sessions when she was just 21.
And it took only two hours at the clinic during her session and she says she was prescribed cross-sex hormones, which she began taking in December 2017.
It did not take too long for Sam, that is in May 2018, or five months later, to be able to undergo a double mastectomy, despite rules saying the patient must have lived as a man for a year.
But just two years after her surgery, by mid-2020, Sam began to suffer from vaginal atrophy.
This is where the female sex organ tissue begins to die off because of the lack of female hormones to keep it functioning and healthy.
This condition left Sam in crippling pain, as well as with an increased risk of developing cancer.
Note that she did a self-diagnosing of herself as a trans man after doing research online.
After she began suffering health complications she did not want to go ahead with full gender reassignment surgery.

By the time her NHS appointment came through, she realised she had made a mistake and told doctors she wanted help transitioning back to a woman.
Sam is now speaking out in an effort to aid other gender identity strugglers and to warn them of the risks of moving through the process too quickly without the right therapy care.
‘I do still feel regret towards medical steps I took during my transition but I am working on loving and accepting my body for how it is rather than how used to be and how I wish it was.
‘I saw a community full of so many people who had transitioned and it had finally made them happy; and with hindsight, I looked at them and thought that would be what made me happy too.
‘I now know that I am not a trans man, but I didn’t have enough therapy to explore what was really going on with me and help me realise that I don’t have to fit into a box of one of society’s defined gender norms.”
