Angelababy escapes Sichuan quake unhurt

HONG KONG actress Angelababy (pic) is reported to be safe following a 6.0 magnitude earthquake which left 11 dead and 122 injured in China’s Sichuan province, China Press reported.

The 30-year-old actress, whose real name is Yeung Wing, was working in the provincial capital Chengdu when the earthquake hit on Monday.

However, Angelababy managed to evacuate in time.

“(I) walked more than 20 flights of stairs and ended up with Juzi (her manager). (I was) scared because the tremors were significant. Hope everyone is okay,” she posted on her Weibo profile.

Angelababy, who began her career as a model in Hong Kong, shot to superstardom following her role in romantic comedy Hot Summer Days in 2010.
