<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->MY SIX-YEAR-OLD daughter found a 4m-long, 25kg reticulated python outside our house on Sunday.
Our neighbours lost their cat recently and this is the prime suspect.
We live off Bukit Timah (Brizay Park), and the arrival of this creature in our garden certainly caused something of a stir ...I think my daughter will be very timid for a while.
The snake, we believe, is now on its way to the Singapore Zoo. I am following up as all my children do not want him disposed of, and we hope he will be named Kaa - of Jungle Book fame (the Disney cartoon movie classic based on a tale by Rudyard Kipling).
Andrew Church

Andrew Church should be thankful that the python did not just make a meal of his 6 year old.

Church has to thank the neighbour's missing fat cat which was probably the python's last meal before his 6 year old daughter stumble upon ther serpent.

There's plenty of snakes in the form of Indians FTs. These species are the most dangerous & their strangle is worst than their body odour.

Really, what sort of talent is being imported to Peesai if they can be free enough to write in to request a snake be named on his kid's request?
