But Greek national Pittis Stavros, 58, is appealing.
Bail of $120,000 has been offered pending his appeal, and he is scheduled to leave for home early Friday morning.
Stavros - a chief engineer of the MV Sakura Princess which was chartered by V8 Pool Inc - was found guilty last week of criminal breach of trust.

Fucker will post bail and jump lah. Bloody joke $120k?!! Not even the value of the fuel.

this is a routine occurrence if you buy bunker in singapore. too bad this guy got caught. This disease has spread to all over south east asia. it should be considered as singapores cultural export.
We have to ask why singapore, considered the most decent and uncorrupted place in the world, succumb to such business. even their ship repair yards reserve 2.5% of revenue for kickbacks under the name of brokerage fees.
