4 arrested, 2 hurt in fight over chair

Six neighbours fought in an Ang Mo Kio HDB block. Four were arrested and two taken to hospital. All over a chair.
On Tuesday, Madam Ho Mei Ying, 37, washed a chair and left it on the common corridor to dry. Her neighbour, identified only as Mrs Tan, 44, allegedly kicked the chair.
That started a fight which went on for about 10 minutes until a neighbour turned up and asked them to stop fighting.
The police turned up soon after and arrested four people. Madam Ho and her husband were taken to hospital.
They have been feuding for the past seven months. Yesterday’s incident was the most serious so far.
