You know the loud groaning sound you heard all over singapore last week- that’s the collective noise made by every single living singaporean on this island rolling their eyes so far back into their head, they could actually see the roots of their hair sprouting from the back of their skulls when they heard Tony Leung was going to be playing Lee Kuan Yew in a new movie called 1965.

so next on the list would be andy lau playing goh chok tong and called it 19XX?

then WONG JIN playing the late goh keng swee and then who else playing who?

one thing for sure we definitely know what's playing now:

the paps playing out butts. we are screwed after every GE for the next ramming 5 yrs :(

I'm not cynical by nature, but given that it's a local production (Homerun Asia, apparently), hopes are pretty slim for anything other than a capstone for Old Man's cult of personality.

No mention of which Tony Leung it will be. Probably not the "In the Mood for Love" one, right? The other one actually might be able to pull it off. Looks abit like him.

the question now is whether lau lee has endorsed it? and later when the film is screened, would there be more bankruptcy suits? if there isn't, then perhaps the old man has become more subtle and tolerating. or maybe he's really senile? more to come.

we need a few dwarfs to play midget mps. probably those who acted in HARRY POTTER's film would qualify.

actually, the entire parleement are full of actors and that's why it's wayang forever in sgp.

the perfect actor for no porn lui
