[h=2]An interesting observation of flag-hanging behavior of Singaporeans[/h]Posted by temasektimes on August 5, 2012
From my MRT journey from Woodlands to Redhill, there is an interesting observation. Apparently Singaporeans staying along the MRT track with common corridor facing the track are super patriotic, all are hanging their flags at the corridors.
The adjacent blocks with their rooms facing the track hardly have any flags.
By taking a harder look it seems the flags were hung by either town councils or zealous RCs.

"Town councils or zealous RCs"

No shit Sherlock, Mr Teo. In other news, the sun rises from the east and sets in the west.

Don't forget the Soviet-style National Day billboards that are erected at the more prominent locations:

Those banners businessman, probably leader some grassroots, will use these as opportunity to saka their MPs. You think they are patriotic, more of profiteering mentality than anything else. They belong to 60% voters. With regard to this, I suspect almost all Town Council procurement procedures are similar to NA non-standard. No wonder we kept hearing fee hike and operations costs became expensive. Any whistle blowers here?
