Actually most of the NS/EW stations that are underground, have a putrid smell, due to the age of the stations, the design, I guess the ventilation not that good & it was planned for a population lesser that, what it is today. The newer ones like the NEL & the circle line & the new DTL, have better lighting & ventilation, you do not get the smell. Some of the carriages of the NS/EW line are old too, that too contributes to the smell...

Perhaps his parents gave them to him.

I used to call him by his name Mark (this one you know), occasionally by Andrew, talked about Yeo Hiap Seng drinks, and would sometimes exclaim: Kah Ch$ng!

That caused him to discard the internet moniker scroobal since July 2013.

I'm now trying to get it back, just to see what excuse he would come up with. Perhaps he would claim he was on a deserted island with no internet access or in a coma.
