叙政府军首次向美军地面部队开火，十多人阵亡

美国领导的国际联军自2014年8月在未经叙利亚政府允许下，以开展名为“坚定决心”的国际反恐军事行动擅自进入叙利亚。这四年来，美国联军在叙利亚狂轰乱炸。而且炸完你，再跟你说这是完全合法的！
叙利亚政府军对此是敢言也敢怒，就是不敢动手。甚至无奈之下去求联合国安理会谴责美国联军的侵略行为，但毛作用都没有。
然而，兔子急了也会咬人。6月22日，叙利亚政府军野战指挥官向卫星通讯社表示，叙政府军与美军首次发生地面冲突。
叙野战军指挥官称，“美军3装甲运兵车沿着公路向叙利亚东部霍姆斯省的叙军阵地逼近，驻守在当地的叙利亚政府军对美军开火，美军在遭到攻击之后迅速掉头撤离，其伤亡情况并未公开。随后，美军出动了多架战机对当地叙政府军阵地进行了空袭报复，造成1名叙军人丧生。”
但是，叙反对派武装的消息源则表示，至少有十多名叙利亚政府军在突袭中被炸死。而且，美军还在计划发动更大规模的报复行动。
对此，美国五角大楼表示，对美军的任何蓄意攻击都是不可接受的挑衅，美军将采取措施对这种行为进行打击。
俄罗斯军事专家萨姆索诺夫指出，美军和叙利亚政府军这几年来虽然互相敌对，但是双方的冲突都集中在代理人战争，比如说亲美反对派武装和叙利亚政府军交火，或者是美军战机对叙利亚军队空袭，并没有这种面对面的地面冲突，此次美叙报复地面交火，如果处理不慎的话将导致整个叙利亚的局势彻底失控，很可能将把美军和俄军都卷入正面的冲突中。
