A 26-year-old Belarusian singer and model reportedly lost her life after allegedly being lured into a scam compound in Myanmar with promises of a modeling job in Thailand.
According to reports, the young woman had traveled to Bangkok hoping to pursue her dream career after discovering a modeling opportunity online. However, she was allegedly taken to a scam compound in Myanmar, where victims are reportedly forced to work in online fraud operations.
She was said to have been made to communicate with men on dating platforms and persuade them to invest money as part of a scam operation. Reports claimed she later disappeared after failing to meet the group’s targets.
Days later, unidentified individuals allegedly contacted her family demanding US$500,000 in exchange for her remains. The group reportedly claimed her organs had been removed and that her body had already been cremated.
