I was offered a free trial service of MIO with my broadband service. I turned down the trial because there were nothing in the package that interested me.

Singtel has also a reputation for making it difficult to terminate services. :)
I've also read complaints of people having problems with MIO.

I've already got cable TV & alot of new programs are really bad. I find the old programs better. :p

if you don't mind watching the classics like: Bewitch, Green Acres, Beverely Hillbillies, Hogans Heroes,... Go take a look at:

If you like anima, go to :

http://www.animafreak.tv/

If you know of other sites, please share :)

if you can read chinese, try pps.tv. one of the greatest software around grin!
i would not be surprised you can watch world cup using it

if you can read chinese,

I don't have any chinese fonts loaded into my OS so much of the text appaear as strange squares. :)

By the way some anime sites require that you download a special application to view film clips but the ones I've tried put a hidden code into my firefox that points to sites with irritating ads :(

So if a site requires a special application to view be sure to protect yourself with an anti-virus, just in case :)

You can get a free anti-virus program from:

In Bintan, Batam, Malacca and Johore they put up tall anntenna to receive Singapore TV channels.

It may be possible for the situation to be reversed - Sporeans putting up tall anntenna in soccer fields, pubs and parks to receive Malaysian and Indonesian channels? The government or community organisations should allow that - it's perfectly legal I think.

.

Even the Ruko(small) hotels in Batam are now offering satellite TV to their guests. These signals include the movie,...,sports channel.

Unfortunatley astro ,the Malaysian satellite service is illegal in Spore. As for HDB dwellers they've removed the community aerials & forcing you to use Starhub.

I believe you are running mac and windows. For windows you can download language pack from windows update and install it.
