Reduce tarrifs, rates, fuel, car prices, rents etc lower in line with reduce economic activity, then dump in money by means of universal income for say several months or one year to revive the economy. Its a disaster out there.
Previously QE was channelled through banks but that only benefited the rich.
If universal income is introduced, that money goes to each individual's pockets and they decide what to spend on.
