It seems that Aljunied-Hougang Town Council had much more important thing to do:
Changing and installing new signboards for block number for all the HDB flats in Aljunied constituencies. New signboards had also been erected at the entrance to all the carparks in the Aljunied constituencies.
All the signboards bear the same colour logo as the Workers' Party : yellow and red...same as those in the original Hougang constituency.
Why the urgency ? Is it necessary to waste such money when the old signboards have been serving their purposes very well ? What concrete benefits does it bring to the residents beside forcibly stamping their backside with the WP colour logo to signify that they are condemned as the the private possesions of WP?
How much taxpayers' money have they squandered on this white elephant project ? What is the relationship between the contractors and WP to command such urgency ? Does any of these contractors related to one of those Yaw's women ?
Is this the reason why there are so many rats running around and so much rubbish that remain unclear as the town council shift all its money, time and resources erecting all these white elephants ?
