MP Sylvia Lim gave out mandarin oranges to wet market stalls, coffee shop stalls and shops holders as well as market and coffee shop patrons and wished them a Happy and Prosperous Lunar New Year.

Held at Maplewood Park in Paya Lebar division of Aljunied GRC last Saturday, we celebrated the Year of the Monkey together with MPs of Aljunied GRC, who were ushered in by a dynamic group of lion dancers.

Starting with the traditional lo hei, residents were treated to a night of various cultural performances ranging from a wind ensemble recital to a face-changing performance, as well as lucky draws.

Our very own MPs, Sylvia Lim and Pritam Singh serenaded the crowd with their renditions of 爱情的骗子我问你 and 爱拼才会赢 .

All in all, it was a memorable night which we hope everyone enjoyed. Do join us in our ongoing celebrations as we bring the festivities to Bedok Reservoir-Punggol division this Saturday!
