We are welcoming a special long weekend indeed. The end of Ramadan on the one hand and the start of of the 7th moon for Buddhists and Taoists, where the current generation pays homage, in an expression of fillial piety, to generations gone by. And of course, there is 9 Aug to come. My wish for Singapore? That we treat each other with empathy, humanity and respect, and speak the language of tolerance.
