I think Air Asia have a good strategy. Buying ANA which have large new fleet of B787 which ANA buying with a big discount as 1st customer. And taking advantage of it.
Is a great plane for budget airline. From A320 seat capacity 180person to about 280 person plane without need to increase flight.

2. Price of the ticket
3. Schedule flight as much as they can in the air not parking.
4. Must average sell off at least 80% seat to break even.
5. Buy aircraft a discount price 10% make a lot of different. Loan interest.
6. Management a little middle man/manager.

Sir Richard & Fat Bangla both conmen in their respective countries. Fat Bangla grew AA by not paying the Malaysian goverment for airport and landing fees. Once their planes get old, trust the Mats to maintain them properly.
