Making an honest observation based on one's personal experience is not being judgmental. When a Christian tells you to your face that you'll go to hell because you didn't accept Jesus as your saviour, is that not a judgemental attitude (happened to me countless times in school where I was surrounded by born-again Christians)? When you're told you'll go to hell because you tell dirty jokes, since dirty jokes come from the devil and not from God. Why do you think MOH banned Christians from 'spreading the word' in hospital wards and outside schools?

Freedom of religion in S'pore is constitutionally guaranteed under Article 15 of the Constitution, allowing anybody to profess, practice and propagate their faith. Anyway, what is wrong with sharing about "the cure for cancer" when one believes he/she has found it?

You weren't even born when Christians holding bibles were thronging high dependency units and ICUs in govt hospitals telling them to convert to Christianity and accept Jesus on their deathbeds, or they'd go to hell. Some were converted because they were either scared shitless, or they were so heavily sedated that they didn't know what they were doing. Anyway, parents and staff complained to MOH and the authorities put a stop to it. This happened in the '80s and '90s.

Almost seemed that God was giving every Christian a 'quota' for conversion rates, with commensurate rewards being meted out in heaven. LOL

You can believe whatever you want. But when you impose your belief on others and scare dying old fogeys into conversion, you're breaching the very freedom of religion that you professed to in your previous post. Cognitive dissonance here, methinks (check up the phrase - I know your vocab is limited).

To be fair, no Muslims have told me that I'll go to hell. And 60% of my staff are Muslim. They have their own beliefs and customs (some of which don't make sense to non-believers) but their attitude is: you do your thing, I do mine. No Muslim has ever tried to convert me - in school or in the workplace.

To be fair many Muslims and Christians are hypocrites, Christians actually more so because of their sense of superiority and their twisted belief that if you don't accept Jesus as your saviour, you're destined for hell. They are terribly judgmental (@True Believer is an example).

The Muslims will say, "I'll go to hell if I eat pork, but for non-Muslims they come under a different law and different God (duh...)." They rarely judge non-Muslims.

That's why you see bible-thumping Christians proselytising everywhere (MOH had to ban them from hospitals) but Muslims generally don't. The hypocrisy of Muslims comes in their cherry-picking: ciggies are ok (not classified as haram, only makruh), alcohol haram but still ok cos it's sedap, but pork a big no-no. You must wear a tudung but watching porn is ok because it's not mentioned in the Quran.

That's the trouble with people of the book: Jews, Muslims, Christians. You swear by the book that holds you to impossibly high standards, and that brings out the worst hypocrisy in human beings.

Resorting to personal attacks is a clear public concession of defeat by you. When a person runs out of facts or logical counterpoints, their argument collapses. To protect your fragile ego or try and "win" the interaction, you move from attacking the argument to attacking me - the person holding it.
