Passengers asked to push plane after breakdown on runway

a336_c1.jpg

Passengers on a Chinese Shandong airlines flight were asked
to get out and push after their plane broke down shortly after landing.

The CRJ7 airplane with 69 passengers and 7 aircrew members
flying from Guilin to Zhengzhou broke down before it could taxi to the passenger terminal.

It took the group nearly two hours to push the airplane half a mile to a side lane.

" it was only a 20 ton medium-sized airplane. If it were a big plane,
it would have knocked us out," said one of the airport workers.
.

Read about this a few years back. It was a Bombardier Jet. No idea why the jet could not taxi on its own power ot why there was no tow.

Must have been a small municipal airport.

hahaha..can't see the photo but seriously how do u push a plane??
there is nothing to hold onto.....
