By working together more closely, the airlines are able to investigate methods to enhance connection between Singapore and India, giving passengers more options and advantages. "This partnership also envisages a closer coordination of flight schedules between Air India and SIA to improve convenience for customers."

Campbell Wilson, the chief executive officer and managing director of AI, and Goh Choon Phong, the chief executive officer of SG, signed the contract in Mumbai on January 16, 2026.The airlines hope to improve and broaden their product and service offerings, allowing customers to book flights across both airlines under a single unified journey and facilitating seamless connections and more route options, subject to regulatory approvals and the signing of final joint business agreements.

To better serve business travelers, the arrangement may also be expanded to include increased cross-participation in the airlines' corporate travel initiatives. For members of Air India's Maharaja Club and SIA's KrisFlyer frequent flyer programs, the airlines will investigate proposals to gradually expand perks beyond the present Star Alliance offerings. As the plans are finalized, more information will be released.

Look at SIA share price, it drops like lao sai since collaborate with Air India
you cannot mix politics with business.. it's gonna fall especially those PAP clowns have no idea how to do business in the first place. Better get out or boycott living in Singapore as soon as you can for your safety and well-being. Year after year, i boycotted many things that are being screwed up by PAP. Changi airport, Scoot , SQ, now also those newly acquired buildings by Tiongs like Clementi mall, and soon CenterPoint.

i also boycott eateries that show 3rd world hygiene standard like many of those in neighbourhood malls. Those that use hand gloves but touch everywhere like the gloves are some god given cover that is always clean. They even use glove to grab bee hoon and put on your plate and the same bee-hoon-picking glove also holding that plate that serve you. That is how bad it is now.

Me too… even thur my boycott may not mean a thing to AssIA but I would refuse and support this bloody airline…
I even boycott Changi airport if I can. Last year I fail once as I need to travel to Taiwan as I dun have much time so fly from Changi, this year I will make effort to avoid Changi on my flying trip to overseas.
