IT services firm Capgemini has appointed former Satyam chief Deepak Nangia as its new chief executive for Australia and New Zealand, replacing Paul Thorley.

Prior to his elevation to CEO, Mr Nangia was Capgemini South East Asia chief executive where he oversaw the Asean region and Japan.

Upon Mr Nangia’s appointment to Capgemini, Mr Thorley said he had “known Deepak for some time and he’s a man of huge integrity. We couldn’t have found anyone better for the job”.

The Global corporate community was shocked and scandalised when the chairman of Satyam, Ramalinga Raju resigned on 7 January 2009 and confessed that he had manipulated the accounts by US$1.47-Billion.

This Deepak Nangia is like Duracell bunny, he keeps on druming drumming .......
