Serious Ah Aneh Moon Landing Crashes

They can't even feed their people, want to land on the moon.

They probably used cheap china made patent infringed parts. If india had stuck to original parts, it would gave succeeded.

If indeed proud India had used tried and tested China-made parts, it would have been a resounding success and PM Narenda Modi would be bragging all the way to the Moon!:roflmao:

Ah Neh scientist very sad, Modi had to hug him. :frown:

Their loss is only a small amount or not even a loss. Sinkies are the great loser because HO JIN has funded billion of dollars in India using our tax monies. Indian can use our CPF funds to make few more rocket and keep trying until they succeeded. If not, they will sign more "contracts" with stupid PAP to invest more money in india.

Modi to Scientist: Don't worry, it is not our money, it belongs to Sinkies
Scientist: Really, which means we can try again?
Modi: Yes, we have 4 billions belongs to Sillypore thru Temasick. Losing 1 moon rocket is no big deal.

Modi can siggest a jv with temasick for next moon expedition.
Its not a total failure though.the orbiter works just fine. Its the lander that kaputs. Probably landed too hard or uneven surface.

Why PAP hasn't send a spacecraft to the moon yet while Ah Nehs have? Too busy suing TOC?

India locates Chandrayaan-2 lunar lander lost on final approach to Moon

The lander module from India's Moon mission has been located on the lunar surface, a day after contact was lost, the head of the country's space agency says.
The Press Trust of India news agency cited K. Sivan, the chairman of the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO), as saying cameras from the Moon mission's orbiter had located the lander.
Mr Sivan said efforts were underway to try to establish contact with it, adding he expected the lander must have experienced "a hard landing".
The space agency lost touch with its Vikram lunar lander on Saturday as it made its final approach to the moon's South Pole to deploy a rover to search for signs of water.
A successful landing would have made India just the fourth country to land a vessel on the lunar surface, and only the third to operate a robotic rover there.
The space agency said on Saturday the lander's descent was normal until 2 kilometres from the lunar surface.

The Vikram lander of Chandrayaan-2 (Sanskrit for "moon vehicle") was due to land in the lunar South Pole region, a region the ISRO said was "completely unexplored".
The lunar rover that was to be deployed from the spaceship was hoped to help scientists better understand the origin and evolution of the Moon through studying the area's topography and minerals.
The area also has craters that are "cold traps", and which would contain a record of the early solar system.
India's first lunar mission in 2008 — Chandrayaan-1 — did not land on the Moon, but using radar detected ice in the frigid shadows of craters at the lunar poles.
Scientists believe large amounts of water are in the South Pole, and the roughly $140 million Chandrayaan-2 mission would explore further how much there might be.

In the early hours of Saturday, Mr Modi had travelled to the space centre in Bangalore to witness the planned landing and congratulate scientists who were part of the mission.
The latest mission lifted off on July 22 from the Satish Dhawan space centre in Sriharikota, an island off the coast of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
After its launch, Chandrayaan-2 spent several weeks making its way towards the Moon, ultimately entering lunar orbit on August 20.
The Vikram lander separated from the mission's orbiter on September 2 and began a series of braking manoeuvrers to lower its orbit and ready itself for landing.
Only three nations — the United States, the former Soviet Union and China — have landed spacecraft on the Moon.
In April, an Israeli spacecraft attempted to land but crashed moments before touchdown.

Indians certainly do know how to create hype.

I love the ah neh butthurt after their space misadventure.
