SINGAPORE: Train service on the East-West Line from Boon Lay Station to Joo Koon Station is being delayed due to a power fault.
SMRT told Channel NewsAsia that the problem started at about 12.20 pm on Sunday.
Some commuters were asked to get off the train at Lakeside Station.
The train operator said on Twitter that east-bound and west-bound services between Boon Lay and Joo Koon are slightly delayed due to a track fault.
Callers to Channel NewsAsia reported similar delays.
One commuter, Stanley, said he was at City Hall Station when he heard the announcement at about 12.40 pm of a delay in service.
