After IAF jets got shot down killed and POW by Pakistan, Tejas LCA jets further rejected and downgraded from fighter to trainer for export! RSAF buy?

After they got killed in war with Pakistan and captured POW, the ABNN air force are even more unwilling to compromise themselves with lousy fucked up warplanes. They want top ace imported warplanes to save their own ass! They want Modi to spend huge tax payer dollars to get either Putin or Dotard's top ace jets. Refused to fly Mustafa jets.

[Global Network Military Report] India's proud LCA "Glory" fighter is very magical to avoid the positive competition with the CMB "Jilong" fighter, but can not be changed to "advanced trainer".

According to Russian professionals, India said that their LCA "Tejas" fighters will compete with the Jacques-130 advanced trainer for the Malaysian market. At the same time, the Malaysian Air Force is considering other models, namely the possibility of obtaining the JF JF-17 "Jilong" and the Korean FA-50.

It’s quite a mess to see this information. The LCA is also a standard jet fighter. How do you "take down your identity" to use the top-level advanced trainer like the Jacques-130 as a competitor? In order to compete, it is also necessary to compete with CMB Dragon and the Indian side has been doing this for a long time.

From the Malaysian Air Force, the selection of fighter aircraft was mainly targeted at the CMB Dragon and the South Korean FA-50. After the twists and turns of the expensive fighters such as Typhoon and Gust, the Malaysian has rationally returned to itself. In fact, there are more serious thoughts. India's initiative to adjust the positioning of the LCA, the change of a cruel point is that "has already been out of the game", does not belong to the scope of the Malaysian fighter - if the Russian side is true.

In parallel with the news of Russian professionals, the Pakistani side also issued a very interesting signal: a grand celebration will be held on March 23rd on Pakistan National Day. Both the Pakistani official and the Pakistani media are particularly stressed that Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir will be a "VIP guest." Although this is only a speculation at the moment, it is not excluded that there may be some important progress in the "Dragon" or related.

The Indian LCA PV-6 (KH-T2010) prototype, the LCA trainer in the final configuration state.

The LCA is clearly a fighter, but it has to be sold as a "training machine". It can also be seen that India has finally realized its own self-knowledge. Not much further observation and analysis found that the Indians did not make jokes about this practice, and the relevant operations are already in progress. However, the cultural temperament has not changed at all, and its target orientation is still "the industry's first."

First of all, LCA has a special coaching style. Due to different functional and performance requirements, the progress of combat LCA is even faster. In November 2017, the LCA "fighter", which was run by Singapore's defense chief, Huang Yonghong, and left "This is a good plane" commentary, is actually an LCA two-seater trainer. At that time, the Indian Air Force Major General A.P. Singer personally drove, which was obviously a strategic public relations/marketing action.

Singapore’s defense chief, Huang Yonghong, experienced the good comments of LCA. I don’t know if it’s a guest.

Secondly, to observe the needs of Malaysia, the Malaysian side is very urgent for the middle and senior trainers. Its active senior coach fleet is small, but it is composed of multiple models, and each one is relatively small. In addition, a considerable part of these trainers also carry out combat mission functions. The Indian side wants LCA to cut in as a "training machine". At the same time, it uses LCA's "natural fighter bloodline" as a selling point to expand the export volume for the Malaysian military's demand for multi-purpose "combat trainer" and then occupy the Malaysian side. Low-end fighter market.

Seeking truth from facts, the Indians have reduced the LCA to the advanced coaching machine for external sales, which has its merits, but the higher education machine is not synonymous with "low performance, low price", there is another standard requirement, and the current international market is advanced. The trainer is not cheap compared to the fighter. This logic in India is problematic, and as soon as it comes up, the top models like the Jacques-130 are used as rivals...

Russia's current state-of-the-art higher education machine, the Jacques-130, is also the main export and replacement model of Russia in recent years.

No matter which model of LCA, there is no foreign user now, and even the Indian Air Force has not passed this level. If domestic requirements are not met, exports are even more promising. Moreover, a large number of important subsystems, weapons and equipment on the LCA rely on outsourcing, India has no control over itself, and future logistics support and even after-sales service are big problems. Even if you sell it, it is more like making a wedding dress for others.

Two-seat "Dragon" fighter.

As far as Malaysia is concerned, considering LCA and even Jacques-130, it is better to consider China's K-8 or L-15 "Falcon", and "Zhenlong" also has a two-seat type. Regardless of whether the budget is sufficient or not, there are very suitable models and perfect mature service systems. Why do you want to "back" the things that are not reliable at all?
