Branded bags

I found a bunch of branded bags. Before I became freegan, I was completely not brand conscious, and I didn’t care for bags at all. A few weeks after I started dumpster diving, my mentor asked me, “How come I don’t see any photos of branded bags? You must have found some by now.”
I said, “I don’t know what’s a good brand, so I don’t bring any home.”
“You pick up!” he practically scolded me. “You pick up, take photo, and we will tell you whether it’s branded or not.”
That’s how I came to find Burberry, Coach and Prada bags. My mentor went on to teach me how to tell a real bag from a fake one. Reading articles such as “how to spot a fake Louis Vutton bag” online helped too.
Probably fake Louis Vutton.
After a while, my mentor asked me again, “How come I don’t see many photos of bags?”
I said, “The ones I’ve been finding are all fake, so I don’t bring home.”
“You bring home!” he practically scolded me. “Just because the bag is not an authentic Louis Vutton doesn’t mean it can’t be used as a bag!”
So I started bringing home even the fake bags, because they can still be used as bags.
Fake Gucci, but real bag.

The above bag is probably a real Louis Vutton. The best way to tell if it is real or fake is to examine it.

I used to think that Coach was a high quality brand. But after picking up many Coach handbags, I’ve come to realise that it is actually mid-range. This is probably an authentic Coach bag, and you can tell that although the quality is good, the leather cracks over time, whereas the Louis Vutton doesn’t.

I learned that there is also such a thing as a low quality authentic branded bag, and a high quality fake branded bag. The above bag, is made of high quality materials. The zippers and buckles all have the Prada logo or word on it. If you didn’t know how to spot a fake Prada bag, you would think it is real. But there is a distinctive mark about the Prada logo that this bag got wrong. So it’s a high quality fake branded bag. Still an excellent bag for every day use.

This, of course, is an authentic BreadTalk leather tote bag. You know it’s authentic because nobody would want to make a fake BreadTalk bag.
And this Carlo Rino bag is also authentic because no one would make a fake bag of a brand you hardly hear about.
I Guess this one is real. Oh, you probably can’t see the logo in the photo. You just have to Guess what the brand is. It is probably real because this brand is not expensive enough to make it worth making fake version of it, I Guess.
