You've missed the point. Or at least my point (no comments if you're referring to other posters' comments in this thread).

My reason for highlighting Nicole Gee is something else : Of all the US soldiers who died, or at least as presented in news or social media articles, Nicole Gee's photos in the days leading up to her death most explicitly remphasized her personal good intentions in her helping (including escorting) as many vulnerable Afghanis (including children) as she could to evacuate. This is a relevant point because of criticisms of the intentions of US soldiers in Afghanistan.

I think lesson learnt today is to leave the Islamic nations alone.

Let them be.

Let them do whatever they want.

Do not try to help them because it is intepreted as interference.
