Was the person near to the drain, the driver or the passenger?. Was the driver (a) Indian ( as from INDIA), (b) China man ( as in PRC), (c) Malaysian or a SINgapore driver, looking at the lorry, most likely ferrying passenger, very likely, in a great hurry to pick up workers. Question, what happened to the speed limiter that these lorries etc, used to have?? Looking at the lorry, it conformed to M.O.M. standard for ferrying passengers..but the driver? & the lorry speed?

Accident looks serious ah impact so great that the guy flung out and landed down in the drain. If you notice the height of the drain is quite high. Probably higher than 2 ppl standing on each other around maybe 6m in height.

was the police aware that there was an injured man out there on the drain

consperm the pick-up was speeding

summore sunday very light traffic

SINGAPORE: An accident between a car and a lorry took place at about 8am on Sunday along the Pan-Island Expressway towards the direction of Tuas.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said four ambulances and one support vehicle were at the scene. Nine people were injured.

Police said the injured were the lorry driver and his passengers.

Four of them were brought to National University Hospital while the rest were taken to Alexandra Hospital.

The driver of the car, who was in his twenties, was arrested. - CNA/fa

don't know who was driver the lorry but from personal observation, some of these foreign workers allowed to drive lorries should be banned from driving, danger to all drivers

Driver of the car caught for drink driving so early in the morning?

Xxmomo, u are too slow as there were already photos without watermark.

Yeah, and the Chinese tabloids reported that he's a rich man's son. He's been arrested.

Let's see how much punishment the infamous Singapore judiciary metes out. ;)
