Accident near Lornie Road exit
causes three-hour jam

Posted: 29 June 2010 1223 hrs

SINGAPORE : An accident just before the Lornie Road exit on the
Pan Island Expressway (PIE) towards Changi Airport caused a massive
three-hour jam that tailed back all the way to Jurong on Tuesday morning.
Police said a 50-year-old man skidded on his motorcycle at 7.20am,
and he died from his injuries. The accident involved another
motorcycle and two cars, and blocked three lanes initially.
Police are investigating and anyone with information
can call 1800-547-1818. - CNA /ls

motorcycle is so dangerous in singapore.
they should be ban for causing traffic jam.

first you save their life, you improve the noise pollution of the country, you reduce traffic jam, cause they keep dieing on the road.

PAP ban chewing gum, they should step up and ban motorcycle in singapore.

The one thing I hate about motorcycles is the noise and pollution. they tend to snake around traffic which is very dangerous.

We should ban motorcycles and have bicycle lanes instead. Electric bikes should be allowed as well.

Someone has died
Please be more understanding

Rest in peace, Mr. Motorcycle

Worst still. Bicycles going against traffic. Bicycles keep going even it is RED traffic light. Bicycles move in group occupy the whole lane, want cars to give way to them.

So stressfull to drive nowaday.

LTA should implement a rule, motorcyclist SHOULD NOT ride on the outer lane.Nowadays, motorcyclist's tend to ride on the outer lane which is meant for overtaking. Alot of motorcyclist's accident happened on the outlane too.
PLEASE ACT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
