I had the same issue when I was mod but decided that I had save my own butt. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose.

You realise that there are few that are intentionally baiting the authorities. Two of them are in this thread and both have in the past re-posted what they they thought was defamatory and seditious items repeatedly hoping and holding their dick, praying day and night the authorities will step in.

Despite what people think and if you are sharp enough, you will notice certain threads and postings disappear usually about 4 hrs before drawn breaks in Singapore. And they are not spams and gory stuff as some people think. I am late night bird. The next day I see things disappear.

No forum owner can operate in a first world country and think that everything and anything goes except for spam and gore. NZ and most 1st world countries have hate laws in place.

Hi brother, I agree with your points. But lets leave it to Sam and see what he wants. He is the boss. I can do what you suggested, but then I will wake up in the morning with a yellow card from him and all the threads reinstated if he does not agree.

TT Durai sued a total of 56 people for defamation before he was caught out. Kong Hee did the same and now is going in.

My advice is to avoid sucking PAP dick or else you believe whatever they say. In the meantime let the adults handle this issue.

What about wild accusations of Ms Foo and K Sanmugam? Can touch or not? If cannot touch, then you are God in here liao leh

I agree with jw5.

The fact that you are a mod shows that Leongsam trusts you and has vested a certain amount of authority in you. It is up to you to use it as you deem fit.

Otherwise, there is no need for any mods. Remember when Leongsam goes for his 3 hr workout or walk his dog, you are supposed to take charge.

Bro, I think there are actually 2 separate issues here.

Don't think you should pass judgement on whether racism is right or wrong. Let the racists, non-racists and victims fight it out themselves.

Instead, step in when the spamming disrupts the forum too much. You can stop spammers without agreeing/disagreeing with their views.

since the domain resides on dns servers outside sg, sg authorities cannot take this site down. they can however attack with ddos or slow it down with a choke or proxy for all traffic going to and fro sbf thru' sg isp's.

sam has another dns location outside of sg jurisdiction as an alternate. and it's not subject to "racism" laws, if any.

Thats true.
Every ethnic group have their own inherent negative traits and quirks. You and I know it so there's no need to be so explicit about it. All of us are guilty of racism sometimes but to keep playing it up to the point of annoyance is another thing altogether. A little tolerance goes a long way to make this world a more liveable place.
