Nudist beaches in Greece

Nudism is forbidden is sometimes signposted on the beaches of Greece, and it is actually forbidden to be naked on Greek beaches. But rarely does anyone care. The smaller the island, the more accepted it is to swim and sunbathe naked. On some beaches, you can even feel watched if you are not naked. The nudist beaches are usually a bit away from the main tourist resorts.

It is far from everyone who likes nudism. If you are naked and notice that others feel bad about it, you must show respect and find a beach where nudism is accepted. Happiness is, of course, finding that beach that no one else finds, putting their clothes aside, throwing themselves into the water and hoping that no other naturists find it. I like to swim naked, but I only do it on beaches where there are no other people.

There are several beaches that are classified as "official" nudist beaches. Even though it's not actually allowed. But that's how it is in Greece, laws and regulations don't always have to be followed. Below are pictures of beaches that are so-called official nudist beaches. Further down there are pictures of nudist beaches that are not official, but are still popular among nudists.

On some beaches, undressed nudists mingle with clothed tourists.
Please note that some of the beaches below are both nudist and non-nudist beaches. Beaches where only parts of the beaches are official nudist beaches. Examples of this are Agia Anna beach in Naxos, Sougia beach in Crete and Tsamadou beach in Samos.
