What a win! I was bowled over. I never expected such a margin of swing. So LLL took away nearly all the 13% of GE2011 from MP.

Next, I was sickened by the PM's statement. What a loser! Instead of conceding defeat graciously and congratulating WP, he rattled on still about KPK's qualities ad nauseam.

And then, Teo Chee Hean became non-committal even spiteful about programmes that PAP promised in PE now that they lost.

LHL gave hints that KPK will not be fielded in PE in future.

So the son of Ponggol has run away!!! Shows how fickle the PAP is. Oi! PAP is like the moon, before losing one moon, and after losing, moon is different.

DPM Teo has changed his tape recorder.
He took out the "What do you think?" tape and put in a "It was always going to be a difficult by election" tape.

A leopard doesn't change its spots. The PAP will be in denial as they believe WP is still not strong enough to pose a serious challenge in 2016. All they needs is another term in office to bring in more foreigners to prevent the ultimate upset!

If I were reporter, I would ask TCH. You knew that you had to go in with local issues burning, yet you framed the BE on local issues. What do you say about the PAP's election strategy then? Obviously you chose local issues becos PAP is also going to face uphill resistance on national issues.

Second question: PAP campaigned and promised KPK will be there rain or shine to serve. Now PAP is no longer committed to PE since it lost. What can you say about election promises?

he shud juz say 2molo dat all dose juz-announced child policy la, hausing policy la ... were a joke! ... :o

Expect dirty tricks while they still have 2/3 majority. Send TCs back to HDB, end NCMP scheme (or extend it to include all losing PAP MPs) and expand the NMP scheme to 20 MPs. Most of all, now that the PAPzis have real difficulty finding talent, reduce the number of constituencies.

If they withhold upgrading or programs from opp ward then they are hanging themselves with own rope. With Hougang/Aljunied/PE - it means that we all have relatives, gf, in laws, cousins, army buddies, nephews, grandparents or even parents living in these areas. So any punishment affects us in a way.

We wants all Singaporeans to benefit from upgrading/lifts schemes.

Also, all this talk about needing to pay ministers super high salaries is still an issue. We want people that are in politics because they want to serve not because they want the $$. If they truly want the $$ then stay in their current job (some may not even get that level of pay in pte industry). We do not care if they are from Harvard. What we care is that they have the heart to serve us. LKY could have a great career in law, but he chose to leave all that behind because he believed he can bring change to Singapore. So in the beginning there was this wanting to help bring about change and there was no monetary gain.

Much have been said about LLL tooth. But heck it only made her look like one of us. Just see pictures of the people she met during the campaigning. She admitted she was not a good student, tried to make up for it through private uni (Singapore Uni do not give you a second chance) and she is all heart.

Helping the poor - I think most Singaporeans would open their wallets and give away 1 to 2 percent (not talking 10%) to help the poor. So when we see Gov with $500B in reserves and not willing to do the same and yet we see the elderly collecting paper boxes/cleaning up in food courts - we all feel it. What harm is there to spend half a percent to help the poor. After all the Gov keeps telling us to do the same.

In the final analysis, the so called Son of Punggol turned out to be Son of nobody. Just a son of a gun.

PAP played the wrong card. More than that though, they have no cards left to play.

LHL is the kind of man who wrote a nasty letter to jbj family upon his death. Can get lower than that.

Son of punggol did not run away, his ship sank and his master left him to sink and disappear.

Good morning guys, I wonder if there will be any new Hitler videos for this episode?

In SCM, there are only reporters, no journalists. They merely report what they are told, not think up good questions.
