A good parent is not one who earns the most money but neglects his children.

A good parent does not adopt other people's children because his children are struggling.

A good parent is one who takes care of his children, especially the weakest and the poorest.

A good parent is one who stands by his child regardless of his situation and circumstances and never desert him for other people's children.

LHL claims SG's GDP is good but he neglects poor Singaporeans.

LHL and LKY welcome PRCs and India Indians with open arms to be new Singapore citizens and claim that Singaporeans are daft, not hard working, etc when international agencies rate Singaporean workers as most hard working.

Is LHL a good PM? The answer is.. NO!!!

LHL is the worst Singapore PM as he has no care and concern for Singaporeans. I hope that the fourth PM is much better than LHL.

By your definition, we are a nation run by animals. A good animal parent, feeds the weak to the lions or leave them in the lurch. We are run by leaders without any human compassion.

Sad.

And it's not who's the PM but the Ruling Party that we should change.

Certainly, we need to change the pap if it doesnt change itself

If the pap doesnt perform, the PM is responsible.

If any minister performs poorly, the PM has to do something. the PM is overall in charge. The buck stops at his table

worstest la ...

Yes, LHL, is the worstest. For the sake of future Singaporeans, may there be no PM who will be as bad as LHL...may he hold the record as the worstest SG PM ever.

I hope that the fourth, fifth, sixth, etc PM will be better than LHL

By that analogy, you are propagating the perception of the nanny-state mindset. No wonder stinkaporeans deserve PAP while true blue Singaporeans are the matured "adult children" who have long flown away from the nest.

Should PAP fall, I would bet that you stinkies would sell their country 10x over to the next colonial master while overseas Singaporeans will flock back by the masses intent on building the country up again.

I disagree with your parenting analogy. The pap does not see its role as such. We are slaves/workers manning the cog wheels of the economy. They are the task masters making sure we do what we're supposed to, such that they can profit from our toil. It has been this way since 1965. Those who call LKY father of sinkapore, and his late wife our mother, are seriously stupid, totally fucked in the head.

No, I am not propagating a nanny state.

I am advocating care and concern for the poor and needy.

I disagree with your salve and master analogy.

I certainly dont see myself as a pap slave.

Maybe u do..and, if so, u deserve the pap.

Come the next GE, I know what to do. my question to you is "do you know what to do come the next GE?"

The latest revision to the parents maintenance act, hell, the creation of the parental maintenance act itself demonstrated this government's reluctance to bear the burden of its citizen.

Between you and the government, there's your children, the average Singapore and private charities, the means-testing social services that pays a miserable $300 and loads of obstacles before it hits them.

Anyway, the parent maintenance act is a joke. Government trying to play moral Gods. Fuck them. Because of this, I will not vote for them even if the opposition puts a real dog in contest.

What's wrong is this? When you're young and strong, you don't belong to your parents, you belong to government, NS, MINDEF, SPF and SCDF. When you're old and weak, it's your children's turn to belong to the government, and you belong to your children.

The various initiatives from PAP such as workfare and CDAC support are sufficient enough to sustain the genuine poor and lowly educated. Don't try diverting the real issue like GCT in NUS.

The fact is that the middle class squeeze in SG is getting worse as PAP disregards the rising cost of living while bringing ever more inferior skills they compete with the middle class solely by virtue of costs and not true ability.

Skills are bought but with no benefit to the middle class as the lapse in migration controls lead to companies where racism exists in the form of foreigners bringing in their own kind and shutting down the possibility of skills transfer to locals.

What then happens next is that locals will then have worse off skill sets and eventually become less desirable sources of employment, thus bringing in the next era of "new poor" which the PAP would rather rid themselves of sooner with fresh sycophants aka new migrants at lower rates.

You can't deny the fact we are a state corporatism. You don't see yourself as a pap slave but you are, as long as you are a sinkaporean living in sinkapore. You are subjected to all sorts of schemes to fleece money off you. When you drive, take a shower, turn on the lights, take a bus, admission to hospital, buy a flat, etc.

I agree with you. It's a bad joke. Many things the pap did are bad jokes..

The Mas Selamat saga...searching the jungle with 1000s of Police and SAF soldiers..and neglecting the immediate families...is also a bad joke

I disagree with the pap. i dont like what the pap is doing. that's why i do want i can to change it.

do u agree with what the pap is doing? if you do, u r entitled to ur choice.

if u dont agree with what u r in now, r u willing to do whatever u can to change it?

have u ever visited the poor and the sick for you to say that the pap's initiatives are enough? the fact that u r confused between CDAC and CDC speaks volumes of ur credibility.
