Was walking around this morning looking for breakfast, saw this building reminded me of goreng pisang decided to have a look.

What a pleasant find, a nice traditional Malay stall in the coffeeshop managed by 3 macik.

Wanted to have mee rebus but not ready so went for the longtong

I have to say it's one of the best tasting longtong I've ever had, the lemak is thick in the soup, cabbage well cooked to just a little crunchy and not soggy. Macik also very generous when I asked for more chili and grated coconut. Now the most interesting part, this big plate of longtong costs only $3. Yes $3 in Orchard. Inflation? Not in here mate. I added a piece of crispy tempeh she charges only 50 cents. This is a real gem in orchard - good food, good macik, good price and in an enronment like this gosh life is good

Yes peaceful, really nice. This morning windy, very nice indeed especially at this first table outside. And of course the good food, hope to be able to catch their mee rubus tomorrow.
