Recently, I've had the privilege to join a free 1 day cultural tour to visit some affiliated columbariums. Transport and a vegetarian lunch is even provided.
Overall, I'm quite impressed with the quality of the columbariums. They are clean with nice designs, air conditioned, spacious. The resting area looks even nicer than some high end hotels. There'll be people trying to psycho you into buying their units and funeral services, but this is to be expected. It's just too bad I prefer inland ash scattering.
But what really surprised me is that their entire modus operandi is the same as property agents. They're even selling their under-construction units and referring them to BTOs lol.
Their incentive structure is also commission -based and I understand that they get >5% off the sales they make. There's no need to take any exam to become an agent. They also have a group leader and the company provides training for social media, video taking, public speaking etc. They even have the quintessential champion top sales banner.
This is an interesting way of organizing after-life services. Is it time to speculate on this "property" market? /s
