Anyone noticed shop owners like to stick a coin on their calculators like this, anyone know the reason for this?

boss will deduct 20cts for every mistake made.

same as bus conductors in the old days, when they gave you changes they pulled coin out from their ears

In Thailand, they use wooden penis.

I think it is meant for the left thumb to grip when one uses left hand to hold calculator and right hand to punch keys.

Really wonder who is right here. Should have asked the guy in J Linderberg in Suntec. Will try to find out more.

This means the calculator is for doing real business....cash terms.
Not for school kids to solve math problems

Nowaday, calculators look all alike. Sticking a coin on your calculator identifies it as yours.

Digital calculator makes you stupid.

Looks like a cute calculator. I want one!

Where to put battery and where's the ON/OFF switch? And where on it is best to stick the coin?
