Mr Nicol Tan, 23, gets emotional as he is congratulated by fellow gamers after being the first in Singapore to lay hands on Starcraft II.

Student chef Nicol Tan was so overwhelmed that he alternated between crying and grinning.

I think the report got the facts wrong. Should be Mrs Nicole Tan, not Mr Nicol Tan.

He is living in a virtual world. Young people are spending too much time with computer; that is why neglecting activities in the real world. This is sad, tear of joy for e game ? On picture some more, I would dig a hole to put my head inside, malu man.

SC2 is quite fun if you tried the beta. But such hardcore games are seriously only for children or for adults with not much work to do.

Wouldn't that be the entire parliament?

Wonder how he will react if he lay his hands on Andrea Fonseka, Sumiko or Ris Low instead of the computer game ;)
i tink in his mind he will still choose the computer game.

he will have an orgasm laying hands on the computer game.

I can't believe it too. Crying tears of joy for a computer game? If all guys behave like this, Singapore is doomed.

FUCKING CUNT! One silly computer game also can cry! No wonder foreigner action party ride roughshod over Singaporean with ease!

Whatever they're really doing , must be really tiring because they sleep in parliament. That's why you need more opposition to keep them on their toes.

???Why queue up till mid-night? I pre ordered mine and delivered to me the next day. No need queue, no need cry.

These are the shameless cr@ps who complain about every little things, cow beh cow bu and write to press when waiting 20-30 miins to see a doctor or wait 2 miin for a MRT train but very happy to spend 2 days or 48hours or 2,880 minutes of his life waiting in line doing nothing for a cr@p game which does nothing to improve his health or life. same with all those teenagers waiting hours at airports to welcome some teen groups.
priorities all wrong. remind me of a similar story of this middle age aunty who cried out so loud when she heard princess diana died but shed not a single tear when her close relative went kaput.
